Happy Earth Day from Push Pushi!

Push Pushi would like to wish you a very happy Earth Day! The very first proposal for an 'earth day' was made here in California. It came in response to a tragic oil spill off that happened off the coast of Santa Barbara. Senators and students, along with animal rights activists joined together to promote and encourage a healthier environment for all. Earth Day was created to spread the message about health of our planet and to also bring awareness to those who can't speak for themselves. The very first Earth Day was celebrated on April 22, 1970.

This year Push Pushi teamed up with the Rohnert Park Animal Shelter to promote several dogs and puppies who are in search of their forever-home. Every year the RPAS takes in an average of 1,200 animals. The shelter works tirelessly to find loving homes for animals that have been found as strays, abandoned, or surrendered by those who can no longer provide a home.

We at Push Pushi believe that every animal deserves a second chance at life and a happy home! We're happy to announce that as part of the shelter's adoption program, Push Pushi will donate a collar, leash, and bandana to be sent home with each adopted dog that participated with us in today's photo shoot.

Below meet the dogs who are eager to find a loving home, as well as help you celebrate Earth Day! For adoption inquires, or to schedule an appointment to visit the shelter please call 707-584-1582.

Pictured above is Daisy, a sweet 9 year old border/collie mix who is good with cats, and is very friendly. She loves to be outdoors, and to go for walks!

This is Raven. She is a pit bull mix, approximately 4 months old, and is vibrant and full of life. She is very friendly, and absolutely loves to play. She and her brother came to the shelter a little bit ago - she is looking for someone who will have lots of time to play!

Nugget is a Chihuahua rescue who was found in a Walmart parking lot. He has a personality that comes across as very calm and shy. He does well in quiet environments. As you can see from the photo above, he really enjoys flowers!

Feenix has known isolation most of his life. Continuously left alone by his previous owners, he has developed a playful imagination; a response developed by his mind to keep himself entertained. He is a Doberman mix, well mannered, and will need lots of active love and attention!

MacGyver is a little gentleman. He is well behaved with cats and other dogs, and it quiet and reserved. MacGyver loves to be around people and enjoys cuddling. While he is no longer available for adoption, we are honored to have been able to meet him!

SaraFina is a sweet and attentive Golden Retriever mix. She has plenty of love to give and loves to shake. When coming out for her photos, she introduced herself by offering her paw! Her happy and content personality is as warming as the sunshine.
